The Finger Lakes Land Trust is a membership supported, not for profit land conservation organization working to protect the beautiful, wild and working landscapes of the Finger Lakes Region. Established in 1989, the Land Trust has already protected over 14,000 acres of the forest, farmland, gorges and lakeshore. The Land Trust owns nature preserves that are open to the public for hiking, bird watching and other forms of recreation. It also holds conservation agreements on private lands.
