RJ Scouton is an American Country Artist, Songwriter, and Patriot. Born on January 22, 1983, in Noxen, Pennsylvania, country artist RJ Scouton had an exciting childhood. Brought up as an outdoorsman he listened to artists such as Alabama, Tim McGraw, and Garth Brooks. Music such as this sparked his interest and influenced him to become a singer/ songwriter. He grew up in the sticks of NE PA raised on country and classic rock, turned to grunge as a teenager obsessed with bands like Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, Sound Garden. He then followed his heart and turned Country after opening for Aaron Tippin in 2015. His musical journey has led him to perform on stages such as Turning Stone Casino, Bloomsburg State Fair, Mohegan Sun Pocono Casino and Luzerne County Fair. In 2015, he won Battle Of The Bands with Stealing Neil, 2017 Steamtown Music Awards Country Artist Of The Year. He's opened up for Morgan Frazier (The Voice) and Country Music Charts Topper Walker Hayes this year. Admired for his unique vocal style and energetic stage presence, RJ Scouton got attention from Aaron Tippins team and was invited to Music City – Nashville, TN where he recorded his album Wreck My Head with Nashville audio engineer legend Ricky Scruggs. The records Moonlight Kisses, Makes You Fall and Wreck My Head landed RJ his first Television debut where he performed live for over 150,000 viewers!
