Corning, NY - Each year the Corning Farmers Market gets bigger and better. For more than 12 years, Corning has hosted a farmers market highlighting local produce and handmade products. This year more than 25 vendors line the walkway leading to the beautiful Centerway Bridge, as well as the pathway to the fountain. Corning's Gaffer District invites you to celebrate local flavor this summer.
The Corning Farmers Market is open in Riverfront Centennial Park every Thursday from 10am-2pm and offers a variety of fresh local fruits and vegetables, flowers, local wine, baked goods and handmade crafts from the Finger Lakes region in New York and northern Pennsylvania. The Farmers Market will remain open each Thursday through October 30.
Visitors are encouraged to check the Market's offerings regularly as products vary throughout the five-month season.
Coleen Fabrizi, Executive Director of Corning's Gaffer District commented, "We're thrilled that the Corning Farmers Market continues to grow each year! The quality and number of vendors, and the variety of their products is what makes this farmers market such an asset to our community. It's so important to support our local farmers and businesses, and this is the ultimate way to Shop Local!"
