Juventas Therapy to Join Corning’s Growing North Side

Corning, NY - Corning's Gaffer District is pleased to announce the grand opening of Juventas Therapy, and its addition to Corning's growing North Side.

The grand opening ceremony will be held on December 29, at Juventas' new 35 Bridge St. location.

Juventas Therapy offers physical, occupational and speech therapy services to individual patients and client agencies, such as school districts, nursing facilities, preschools, early intervention agencies and other individuals or entities seeking therapy solutions.

The new location will provide outpatient therapy treatment to individuals with any impairment that limits their physical mobility or general health. The owners of Juventas are proud to serve the community, and to provide therapy and rehabilitative services to individuals of all ages and stages of life.

"We felt that Corning needed an option for therapy services with a personal touch," said Joel VanSlyke, Director of Outpatient Services at Juventas.

"We're a place where experienced, specialized therapists can provide a level of service and care that can't be matched at the average therapy department of one-stop-shops. Our intention is to provide the highest level of individualized attention and personal quality of care that larger organizations struggle with."

Juventas Therapy feels a deep connection to the Corning area and its residents. The business is indepently owned and operated by certified therapists, and all members of the Juventas team have been longterm residents of the Southern Tier.

The company was originally founded in 2010 under the name Kids First Physical Therapy, providing school-based pediatric physical therapy services that were highly individualized to the student. In 2012, after swift growth, the company expanded to include occupational and speech therapy services and took on its current name and structure.

"We're very proud to welcome such a dedicated group of professionals to the North Side," added Coleen Fabrizi, Executive Director of Corning's Gaffer District. "Not only will the talent and expertise of Juventas Therapy benefit our growing downtown, but it will prove to be a much appreciated benefit to the entire Southern Tier community."
