Corning, NY - Corning's Gaffer District is pleased to announce the addition of VOLO, a new bar and lounge, to Corning's Historic Market Street.
Located at 74 E. Market Street, in the former Glory Hole Pub space next to Aniello's Pizzeria, VOLO welcomes customers who are interested in enjoying a casual nightlife experience in the heart of Corning's Historic Downtown. The bar offers specialty crafted mixed drinks, local wine and craft beer, as well as a selection of domestic beers on draft. Complimentary finger foods and snacks are also available for patrons, as VOLO does not offer a kitchen menu.
The bar, owned and operated by Vinnie Azzarelli, will enjoy its grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony next Friday, September 5.
Azzarelli, a native of Horseheads, recently moved back to the area from time spent in Colorado. "I knew there was a lot of potential," Azzarelli said. "So I moved home to do this."
According to Azzarelli, the renovations from the old space to new took the entrepreneur about three months. As final renovations and installations come to an end, both the young owner and VOLO are ready to offer a new, exciting nightlife experience to visitors of Market St.
Following the soft opening on August 15, VOLO has already experienced a steady influx of customers on the weeknights and weekends. Azzarelli says that he hopes his location can be a place where people want to unwind after work and relax on their time off.
The VOLO bar and lounge is now open Monday through Saturday, 4pm-1am. Guests are encouraged to attend the official grand opening, on Friday, September 5. For additional information, visit VOLO at 74 E. Market, or like their business page on Facebook.
