Given its "general mercantile" classification, "This N That Collectibles and Treasures" at 63 East Market Street thrives on accommodating the ever-evolving demands of local customers as well as visitors to the Crystal City.
"We opened up the shop in 2017 with a wide selection of costume jewelry and antiques," noted owner Bill Boychuck. "More recently, with people spending more time at home, we've seen a trend toward back-to-the-basics. We've expanded our inventory with herbs and teas from around the world. Our most successful initiative? Inviting "Pixie Moss Meadows" to share space with us."
Pixie Moss Meadows, owned and operated by artisan Jen Tiffany, creates whimsical gardens featuring succulents and cacti. Some vessels are so small they can not hold much more than pixie dust... And others are grand and elegant enough for weddings and other large-scale celebrations. Jen shares her deep expertise by leading small classes throughout the year, focused on seasonal themes around Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Autumn Harvest.
