From Farm to Market: Thursdays in Full Bloom

Do you smell the doughnuts? Taste the comfort of those creamy cheeses or those savory meats? What about the color on those flowers that really brings out the vibrance of the park?  Corning’s Farmers Market runs every Thursday through the end of October from 10AM to 2PM in Riverfront Centennial Park. Our market brings in local farmers and vendors to share with our community. With regular and rotating vendors and food trucks, there are always new experiences to try at the Farmers Market every week.

 

Music in the Square: Your Summer Soundtrack

Mike, Music in the SquareGet ready to groove every Thursday night in July and August from 6 to 8 PM as Centerway Square comes alive with the sounds of summer. Enjoy live performances from an exciting lineup of local and regional artists, all in the heart of downtown Corning.

Cruisin’ on Bridge with 607 Motorsports: Engines, Eats and Electric Energy on Bridge Street

Cruisin’ on Bridge is where horsepower meets hometown fun. This car centric event brings the community together for a celebration of all things cars on Saturday, August 23rd, from 4PM to 8PM. Take a walk down Bridge Street to check out a variety of breathtaking cars courtesy of 607 Motorsports. Enjoy mouthwatering bites from food trucks and products from local vendors.  The fan-favorite Power Wheels Race for kids will be making a return. Racers without their own power wheel can participate by using a vehicle provided by our awesome sponsor: Williams Toyota of Elmira. Cruisin’ on Bridge is for everyone, whether you are a foodie or looking for some fun with the family, we hope to see you there! 
 

Storytime in the Square: Little Listeners, Big Adventures

 

Feel the magic in Centerway Square with Storytime in the Square as laughter and learning fill the air. Every other Tuesday at 10AM in Centerway Square from June 10th to August 19th, Miss Sue comes down from the Southeast Steuben County Library to enchant children and families alike. With a new theme every meeting time, the story is bound to make treasured memories.
